Fall in "Love" with Multi-Channel Marketing
Join the Canton·Stark County CVB for a FREE marketing seminar on Valentine's Day, February 14th, 2008 at 9am. Glenda Lehman Ervin, VP of Marketing for Lehman's Hardware in Kidron, will be presenting a seminar on multi-channel marketing. Learn the importance of multi-channel marketing and how to make your marketing message and dollars work harder for you. Multi-channel marketing is the concept of having all avenues of your advertising from print work to website and everything in between have the same message, look and overall feel. Glenda is a dynamic and knowledgeable speaker and has years of experience in marketing. Before coming to work at Lehman's she spent much of her career in a Fortune 200 corporation. Submitting your events to be considered for inclusion in the 2008 Official Visitors' Guide and WHBC Sourcebook is FREE and is a great way to advertise your event. One of the best opportunities offered is the FREE listing of your event, attraction, restaurant, or hotel on DiscoverOhio.com. DiscoverOhio.com is used by the travel counselors at 1-800-BUCKEYE to provide callers with tourism information on the State of Ohio and by potential visitors who log onto the site.
Tourist Information Center & Visitor Information Center
The Canton · Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau has two satellite offices, The Tourist Information Center, which is located next to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Visitor Information Center, conveniently located in the terminal at the Akron-Canton Airport.
The Tourist Information Center (TIC) displays brochures and visitor's guides with some great ideas on what to see and do in Stark County and all over the state of Ohio. Attractions, Stark County hotels, distinctive shops, golf courses and unique restaurants are given the opportunity to bring their brochures to our TIC for visitors to peruse. The TIC is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
The Visitor Information Center (VIC) has brochures for Stark and Summit Counties only. If you are an attraction, hotel, distinctive shop, golf course or unique restaurant and your business is located in either of these two counties, we will be happy to display your brochures to give incoming passengers, and local people as well, ideas on what to see and do while they are visiting our community. The VIC is open 7 days a week and is staffed M-F from 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:0 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon until 7:00 p.m.
Don't forget if you update your brochure to bring us your new ones, or if your business is holding a special event we can post your event on our bulletin boards at both locations.
