The City of Canal Fulton Canalway Center is a Visitor & Information Center promoting the cultural, historic and recreational assets of Canal Fulton and the Ohio & Erie Canal. The Center also offers information & ticket sales for the Canal Fulton Heritage Society's canal boat, the St. Helena III. Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

Experience the fun and nostalgia of a vintage train ride. Historic Rail Diesel Cars depart from Canton's Lincoln Highway Station on selected summer weekends. Other trains will take you on a scenic excursion through the beautiful Cuyahoga valley National Park. Exploration Gateway

A unique partnership between the Stark County Park District and Stark County District Library, the Exploration Gateway offers hikes, nature education programs, library services, and community meeting rooms. Self-guided and docent-led tours of an Ohio & Erie Canalway exhibit hall will begin in February 2008. A gift shop will also open in 2008. Pontoon boat rides, row boats, and fishing also offered on-site. Open Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Other times by appointment.
First Ladies National Historic Site

Get a glimpse of the bygone era as you tour the home of America's 25th President's First Lady, Ida Saxton McKinley. Located in the historically documented Saxton-McKinley home in downtown Canton, this stately Victorian has been restored with great attention to historical accuracy. Tours available Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; reservations recommended. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for students.

Built along the Sandy and Beaver Canal, it sells corn meal, animal feed and various seeds and offers tours. Visitors who cruise on the St. Helena III travel along an original section of the Ohio & Erie Canal, departing from the boat dock at the Canal Fulton Canalway Center. The boat glides along as it is pulled by a team of horses. Travel back in time to the days when canals were Ohio's highways. William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum

The William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum is a family friendly history and science museum. The Museum includes the McKinley Gallery, the Street of Shops, the Keller Gallery, Discover World, the Hoover-Price Planetarium, and the Ramsayer Research Library. The McKinley National Memorial, burial site of President William McKinley and his family, is also on the Museum grounds. Open Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5 for students ages 3-18.
