Canton Classic Car Museum

So much more than a bunch of old cars!! We house over 45 antique and collectible cars, including an Amphicar that works on water and land, a 1937 fully bullet proof Canton Police Car, a hand carved Packard Hearse, 1970 Plymouth Superbird and so many more! Thousands of pieces of memorabilia, antiques, nostalgia, there is something here for everyone. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Closed New Years, Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas Day. Admission is $7.50 for adults, $6 for seniors (60 and over), $5 for youths (6 to 18) and children under 5 free with paid adult admission.
Canton Museum of Art

The Canton Museum of Art is Stark County's home for art. The galleries and classrooms welcome all to experience art first hand through our touring and Permanent Collection exhibits, studio art classes and workshops. CMA's Permanent Collection focuses on American watercolors and contemporary ceramics. Make your plans now to visit in 2009 during the Kimono exhibit. This exhibit will only be making two stops in the United States. Open Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday - Thursday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults, $2.50 for seniors (60+) and children (6-12). Tuesdays are free for everyone, CMA members are always free.
Five Oaks Historic Home
210 Fourth St. NE, Massillon, OH 44646 ~ (330) 833-4896Five Oaks was designed by the noted Cleveland architect Charles F. Schweinfurth and built 1892-1894 for Mr. and Mrs. J. Walter McClymonds at a cost of $200,000. The name was adopted from five oak trees that stood on the lawn. An oak motif, employing designs of the acorn, leaf, and tree, is used extensively in the house. Today, Five oaks is on the National Register of Historic Homes and is a treasure located in historic Massillon for all to enjoy and experience. Summer tours offered every Sunday in July and August from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment year round. Cost of tour $5 for adults, $1 for students.
Glamorgan Castle - Alliance City Schools

Built in 1904, Glamorgan Castle was the private residence of Colonel William Morgan, president and principal owner of the Morgan Engineering Co., and inventor of the overhead traveling crane. Glamorgan is now the Alliance City Schools administration building. Tours Monday - Friday 2 to 4 p.m.
Haines House Underground Railroad Museum

Haines House was built by one of the first settlers in the area, John Grant. His daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Ridgeway Haines, operated a station on the Underground Railroad in the house. Their son John Columbus Haines fought in the Civil War. The Haines House combines a sense of history and a sense of community. Open the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon, the first Sunday of the month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., daily during the Carnation Festival from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment. $3 suggested donation.
Hoover Historical Center/Walsh University

The Hoover Historical Center preserves the Hoover legacy in the Hoover family's Victorian home. Ladies vintage fashions, family furnishings and elegant decor accented with floral flair compliment Hoover Company history. Hoover products, advertising and war memorabilia displayed throughout. Herb gardens grace the grounds. The Center is located inside Walsh University's Hoover Park. Tours hourly, Wednesday - Saturday, March - mid-December 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission $3, children 12 & under free.
Mabel Hartzell Historic Home

The Mabel Hartzell Historic Home was built in 1867 and has an Italianate design. The interior has been restored to the grace and splendor of the Victorian era. The furnishings include a Wooten desk, Eastlake bedroom set, Renaissance revival furniture and fully restored kitchen. By appointment only. $2 donation requested for tours.
MAPS Air Museum

Visitors will see aviation artifacts, memorabilia and historic military aircraft undergoing restoration. Displays include a Polish MIG-17, ultra rare B-26 Marauder, F-4S Phantom II, A-7E Corsair II, PT-19, and F-100 Supersabre. Large gift shop. Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays until 9 p.m. Guided tours daily. Closed major holidays and Sundays.
Massillon Museum

The Massillon Museum is an art and history museum located in the center of downtown Massillon. The museum offers changing exhibitions, permanent collection galleries, lectures, concerts and educational programming. Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Mathews House Museum/Navarre - Bethlehem Township Heritage Education Center

Built in 1836 by Joseph Mathews, a printer who immigrated from Bristol, England. Mathews' two sons Alfred and William became important American artists. An adjacent Heritage Education Center features exhibits related to the history of Navarre and Bethlehem Township. Open first Sunday of the month May - December from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Also open for special events throughout the year and other times by appointment. No admission charge.
National First Ladies' Library

The only national organization dedicated to educating the public about the lives and contributions of our nation's First Ladies. On guided tours, view themed exhibits about First ladies containing original clothing, letters, photographs and other artifacts, as well as the restored family home of Ida McKinley. Guided tours available Tuesday - Saturday at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. June through August tours are also available on Sundays at 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. The gift shop is open Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with additional hours June through August on Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost for tour is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5 for children.
North Canton Heritage Society

A small museum devoted to the history of North Canton (formerly New Berlin) and surrounding area. The Society maintains a photo and clipping archive of area history, and publishes books. It has genealogical information on early North Canton families. A small exhibit area features artifacts from North Canton's past. Open Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. No admission charged.
Ohio Military Museum

The museum features displays of Ohio's military veterans uniforms and memorabilia pertaining to the wars of the US and peacetime activities. Displays include nine medal of Honor collections. Open Wednesday - Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame is a one-of-a-kind attraction with over 80,000 square feet of inspiring and interactive exhibits that enable you to experience pro football's past and present. Relive the defining moments of football history and the thrills of today's game. Open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Extended summer hours, Memorial Day-Labor Day, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Closed Christmas Day. Admission is $18 for adults (15-61), $12 for children (6-14), $15 for seniors (age 62+) and children under 6 are free.
Spring Hill Historic Home

Spring Hill, built in 1821, was the farm home of Quakers Thomas and Charity Rotch and, subsequently, three generations of the Wales family. The home was a station on the Underground Railroad in the mid-1800s. The carefully preserved home and its grounds features original furnishings and period outbuildings. Open June - August on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 3 p.m. Open September on Saturday and Sunday from from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 3 p.m. Closed October - May. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for students and children under 6 are free.
William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum

The William McKinley Presidential Library & Museum is a family friendly history and science museum. The Museum includes the McKinley Gallery, the Street of Shops, the Keller Gallery, Discover World, the Hoover-Price Planetarium, and the Ramsayer Research Library. The McKinley National Memorial, burial site of President William McKinley and his family, is also on the Museum grounds. Open Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $5 for students ages 3-18.
