The Canton Museum of Art is Stark County's home for art. The galleries and classrooms welcome all to experience art first hand through our touring and Permanent Collection exhibits, and studio art classes and workshops. CMA's Permanent Collection focuses on American watercolors and contemporary ceramics. Open Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults, $2.50 for seniors (60+) and children (6-12). Tuesdays are free for everyone, CMA members are always free.
The Canton Palace Theatre

The historic Canton Palace Theatre opened its doors for the first time on November 22, 1926. An "atmospheric" theatre, the ornate Palace seeks to re-create a Spanish courtyard on a midsummer night. Its ceiling, a starry sky with wisps of clouds, creates a dream effect. the Palace still has its original cloud machine that makes the clouds continuously march across the sky. The Palace also still has its magnificent "Kilgen" Pipe Organ, originally used to provide background music for the silent movies shown at the Theatre. The Kilgen is one of only a few left in the country, and the only one that remains in its original home. The majestic Canton Palace Theatre plays host to over 300 events per year and has an attendance of over 100,000 per year. Ticket prices vary per event. The Harmony Players is North Canton's Newest Dinner Theater. Productions open the first Friday of every month. Lions Lincoln Theatre

The Lincoln Theatre was opened in 1915 as an Opera House and had many live shows and acts before becoming a movie theater. In 1995 renovations were completed. The 694-seat facility is for rent Monday through Thursday evenings. Special matinee showings of the current film can be arranged.
